Pablo Chimenti: Argentina; Buenos Aires (1980). I am a composer, sound artist and performer. My artistic production focuses on sound and its environment, on the voice and its discursive field, and on the relationship between acoustic and electronic sources. I work with different materials and devices investigating their qualities in acoustic and symbolic terms. My works are presented in several formats: installations, interventions, performances, pieces for solo instruments, chamber ensembles and electronics. I compose music and sound design for theatre, dance and video installations. I am a professor of the degree in Composition with Electroacoustic Media at the University of Quilmes, Buenos Aires, Argentina; of the degree in Electronic Arts at the National University of Tres de Febrero, Buenos Aires, Argentina; and of the National University of Arts in the Area of Multimedia Arts, Buenos Aires, Argentina.
